Open Houses

Saturday, November 5th – 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

Join us for student-led tours of our school and meet the teachers and staff.
Our Saturday Open House is setup to allow for you to visit us at whatever time suits you and your family best.

Starting at 10 am, students will be leading tours throughout the school including the classrooms and gym.

All our teachers, staff and administration will be on hand to answer any questions throughout the Open House, so come when you can, stay as long as you like – and enjoy your visit to our beautiful campus!

Friday, January 20th – 5:30 pm to 8 pm

(includes J Term Showcase)

Our annual J Term Showcase will be paired this year with an exciting Open House opportunity. Begin the evening with the Showcase event starting promptly at 5:30, and then join us as we offer tours of the school including the classrooms and all of our teachers and staff.

Wednesday, February 15th – 8:30 am to 11:00 am AND 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm

(includes Chapel)

This special Chapel and Open House event will begin with our student Worship Team followed by a short Performing Arts presentation and a Chapel speaker. After Chapel, join us for light refreshments as you enjoy our “school-day” Open House. Homeschool families are encouraged to attend.

For those unable to attend the daytime Open House, or for those who would like to come back, an evening Open House will be held also. During the evening, prospective students and their families will have an opportunity to customize their visit, tour the areas that best suits their needs, and meet our teachers, coaches, and students.

Sunday, March 18th – 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm

Join us for a special Open House starting promptly at 1:00 p.m. Visitors will be greeted with a formal welcome by Principal Mr. Kemerling followed by student-led praise and worship. A tour of the art room, gymnasium, unfinished cafetorium areas, and finished academic wing will follow. Teachers will be available to showcase curriculum and technology initiatives as well as answer questions. Students will present a mini J-Term showcase as they share their personal experiences in mission ministries, academic pursuits, and business internships. The Open House will conclude with a discussion on student activities at DCHS and a question and answer session. All are welcome!

Thursday, April 19th – 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm
